Controls/Robotics Intern

What you'll do

• Create and fine-tune control systems for complex robotic machinery using various advanced techniques.
• Construct simulation models and test them in hardware environments to verify algorithm performance.
• Build and implement neural network solutions for sensing, motion planning, or intelligent system adaptation.
• Connect your code with embedded and backend teams while maintaining safety and real-time operation.

What they're looking for

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or similar discipline.
• Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
• Familiarity with Python/C++, PyTorch/JAX, optimization frameworks, and ROS2 is advantageous.
• Personal engineering projects and hands-on building experience preferred; sensor systems and circuit design experience helpful.

Pay and perks

• $25-35/hr with relocation assistance and additional company benefits.
• Fall position running August-December based on your academic calendar.
