Join our Emerson T&M Analytics Engineering team as an intern and gain hands-on experience building enterprise-scale data solutions on the Snowflake platform. In this role, you will partner with business and data teams to develop a scalable operational dashboard that provides visibility into costs, pipeline health, system performance, and key metrics, while also helping modernize data governance through the automated generation of documentation and metadata management within Snowflake. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to apply SQL, Python, analytics, and AI-driven problem-solving skills to deliver real business impact while learning from experienced data professionals.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Building effective partnerships with business stakeholders and data team members.
- Gaining a deep understanding of our data portfolio and related data transformation pipelines using Snowflake platform.
- Designing and building a scalable internal operational dashboard (cost monitoring, pipeline status and health, and KPIs) entirely within Snowflake.
- Auto-generating documentation from Snowflake, tagging sensitive columns, and ensuring assets are properly documented.
- Communicating improvements and recommendations for action in an effective and concise manner (technical and non-technical audiences).

For This Role, You Will Need
- Enrolled in or completed a Bachelors or Masters in: Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems or related field of study.
- Knowledge and experience in SQL and Python.
- Understanding of relational databases, data modeling concepts, and data platforms.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

- Exposure to Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
- Eagerness to learn and ability to work independently.
- Excellent storytelling abilities to communicate with stakeholders across multiple functions and levels.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI effectively to accelerate your productivity.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and attention to detail.
- Prior experience or projects involving data warehousing, ETL, or business intelligence is a plus.
