The Role

Arine is revolutionizing healthcare workflows through our AI Outreach initiative. We are building a configurable, Agentic calling framework that uses ambient listening and AI-driven orchestration for patient, pharmacy, and provider interventions. This project aims to elevate clinical workflows, ensure highly personalized patient engagement, and deliver measurable improvements in clinical outcomes.

What You’ll be Doing

Internship Focus Areas

• SOAP Note Transformation: You will focus on the AI logic required to convert unstructured call summarizations into high-quality, clinical-grade SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan) notes. This includes leveraging foundation models like Claude 3.5 Sonnet to extract structured clinical facts from live transcripts.
• Prompt Generation & Agent Behavior: You will help build Arine's prompt generation, defining guardrails and determining how the agent should respond to questions or comments from the stakeholder it is talking to. This work ensures complex, human-aware AI engagement that understands patient sentiment and care gaps in real-time.

Who You Are and What You Bring

• Experience with LLMs (e.g., Claude, GPT-X) and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with AWS (Bedrock, Lambda) and Python.
• Experience with Azure (AI Foundry)
• Interest in healthcare technology and clinical documentation workflows.
• Completed Bachelor's degree or Masters Degree.

Remote Work Requirements

• An established private work area that ensures information privacy
• Reliable internet capable of low latency with the ability to carry video and voice calls without breaking up

This role is 100% remote.

The posted range represents the expected salary for this position and does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, benefits, and perks. Ultimately, the final pay decision will consider factors such as your experience, job level, location, and other relevant job-related criteria. The pay rate for this position is $25.00 per hour.

Information Security Roles and Responsibilities

All staff at Arine are expected to be part of its Information Security Management Program and undergo periodic training on Information Security Awareness and HIPAA guidelines. Each user is responsible to maintain a secure working environment and follow all policies and procedures. Upon hire, each person is assigned and must complete trainings before access is granted for their specific role within Arine.
