The Opportunity
Our Medical Affairs Internship Program provides meaningful, professional, hands-on experience to students with proven academic performance and problem-solving potential. We hire students majoring in Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Health Sciences, PharmD or relevant degree programs into our programs based on business needs. Ideal candidates will combine scientific curiosity and analytical rigor with strong communication skills and attention to detail. Interns will work alongside experienced Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Biostatistics colleagues, gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of medical review and scientific communication.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in biological sciences, biotechnology, health sciences, or a medical field.
Preference given to candidates with a record of outstanding academic achievement.
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Enrolled in a graduate or PhD degree program
Prior experience with scientific writing, research, or regulatory/compliance work a plus
Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
Intern assignments will be located onsite at Abbott Cancer Diagnostics office in Madison, WI
