Under the general supervision of the Department Director and assigned mentor, and according to established Firm policies and procedures, the Intern performs a variety of functional and administrative duties for the Firm. The Intern will work collaboratively with department team members on specific short and long-term projects related to their field of study and firm priorities with a focus on all aspects of Information Security, including Cyber Security. Activities will be assigned by the Department Director based on business needs and learning opportunities for the Intern.

Internship Eligibility
The BT R.I.S.E. Internship Program is designed to introduce students in specified fields of study to the day-to-day operations of a law firm. Candidate's skill, knowledge, aptitude, and education will be considered during the selection process. To be eligible candidates must:
Entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year in the Fall of 2027.
Be available to participate for 10 consecutive weeks.
Enrolled in a 2-4 year undergraduate degree program at time of internship
Key Responsibilities
Support assigned department to deliver meaningful work that advances business initiatives related to the implementation of Information Security initiatives for the firm.
Collaborate with work team members on focused projects, data input, data analysis, process documentation, and recordkeeping.
Participate in internal and external meetings to develop an aptitude for their field of study and business acumen.
Observe confidentiality in all client and Firm matters.
Collaborate with other departments and summer interns, where applicable
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university program to receive college course credits.
Pursuing a degree in fields of study that aligns with the following departments: Human Resources, Accounting, Marketing, Information Technology, and Legal Operations.
Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when performing work functions.
Ability to proofread typed material for contextual, grammatical, typographical or spelling errors.
Strong interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate in person, by email, phone, and virtually.
Ability to follow instructions effectively from a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff.
Provide timely and accurate information with ordinary courtesy and tact.
Ability to operate standard office equipment, including personal computer, copiers, phones, and scanning equipment.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
