Walk-in Case Management Services Intern (Fall 2026)

What you'll do

• Assist refugees, asylees, and humanitarian immigrants with walk-in case management services in Baltimore.
• Help clients access services like EBT activation, Social Security cards, and Maryland ID cards.
• Coordinate transportation to medical and required appointments.
• Conduct orientation sessions on banking, public transportation, and grocery shopping.

What they're looking for

• Prior experience with refugees, immigrants, case management, or social work preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle preferred; bilingual ability desired.

Pay and perks

• Unpaid internship with per diem reimbursement at $15 per day.
• Mileage reimbursement for approved activities.
• IRC laptop provided for duration of internship.
