Utility Forester Intern - Summer 2027

What you'll do

• Patrol lines and assess vegetation conditions; maintain work records.
• Coordinate with landowners on access and vegetation management activities.
• Estimate vegetation management requirements and costs for facilities.
• Inspect contractors for compliance and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide administrative support including timesheet and budget tracking.

What they're looking for

• Pursuing 4-year degree in Forestry, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Biology, or related field.
• Valid driver's license; ability to travel within service territory.
• Preferred: forestry field work or right-of-way management experience.
• GIS/GPS familiarity and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
