Underwriting Internship - Summer 2027

What you'll do

• Learn insurance coverages, contracts, company philosophy and procedures for underwriting decisions
• Study policies, manuals, forms and endorsements to understand their application
• Analyze loss experience, financial conditions and physical risk characteristics
• Communicate with independent agents and employees verbally and in writing

What they're looking for

• Currently enrolled, entering junior or senior year of college
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with independent decision-making skills
• Above-average written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to resolve complex issues and interest in product knowledge development

Pay and perks

• $22.00 per hour
