Underwriting Intern, Transportation

What you'll do

• Support the transportation underwriting team with policy issuance, billing, and binding.
• Review insurance submissions for accuracy and request missing documentation.
• Communicate with agents via phone and email to provide customer service.
• Attend team meetings and assist staff with various underwriting tasks.

What they're looking for

• Students majoring in Insurance Risk, Business Risk, or Business.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role in Metairie, LA.
• Available from May 17th through August 5th, 2027.
