Our PAT (Probe, Assembly, & Test) Operations Group is looking for a talented Test Engineering Intern/Co-Op to join our team in our Palm Bay, FL office. Our team develops and manufactures Radiation Hardened ICs to service the Space Industry.
The candidate will collaborate with experienced Test Engineers to assist with transferring automated test solutions between test handler platforms for analog and mixed-signal, power management integrated circuits. This will involve designing hardware, writing and debugging software modules, troubleshooting, data analysis, and developing production qualification plans. The candidate will also gain experience working with other Engineers of varying disciplines (Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Process Engineering, etc) and utilize statistical analysis to evaluate the platform transfers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with experienced engineers to learn and understand varying processes across Probe, Assembly, and Test
- Learn to operate/run ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) and Pick-N-Place Test Handlers
- Analyze processes for possible improvements or automation
- Conduct Data Analysis on both existing and new handler solution
- Prepare qualification plans to be presented to a multi-disciplinary Review Board
Qualifications
- Candidate must be working towards a BS or MS in Microelectronic Engineering (MicroE) or Electrical Engineering (EE)
- Familiar with Statistical Concepts as it relates to manufacturing (i.e. Mean, Std. Dev, SPC, CPK, Gage R&R, ANOVA)
- Strong foundation in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and/or SQL
- Lab Proficiency - Experience with using scope and bench setup
- US Citizen due to ITAR Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Detail oriented with strong communication skills, written and verbal, and ability to work collaboratively with others
Preferred Skills (Not Required but a plus)
- Familiarity with statistical analysis software, JMP, is preferred
