Tax Accountant Internship, Summer

What you'll do

• Support tax department strategy, planning, and compliance functions across projects.
• Participate in tax forecasts, liability analysis, and effective tax rate calculations.
• Research jurisdictional tax laws and identify tax-saving opportunities.
• Analyze tax implications of contracts and prepare journal entries.

What they're looking for

• Currently enrolled in associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, statistics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with Excel proficiency.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge; VBA proficiency preferred.

Pay and perks

• $19.32–$26.11 hourly, based on experience and location.
• 10-week full-time internship (40 hours/week); hybrid in Herndon, VA.
