Job purpose
Join BorgWarner's PowerDrive Systems Engineering team and gain hands-on experience developing advanced electrification technologies that power the future of mobility. You will work alongside experienced engineers to support requirements development, system architecture, design, integration, and validation activities. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply engineering fundamentals on real-world products while building a strong foundation in systems engineering and cross-functional collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development of systems work products such as requirements, architecture and designs
- Support in technical analysis, trade off studies, FMEAs, and design reviews
- Support the definition and continuous improvement of systems engineering processes, methods, and tools
- Perform system integration and testing activities
- Document and share best-practices
What we're looking for
- Course work in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering required
- Basic understanding of structured analysis and problem solving is preferred
- Organized and structured workstyle and attention to detail are required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language required
- Strong PC knowledge and experience required
- Teamwork – Considers and seeks out the impact of his/her actions within the team. Actively seeks collaboration with internal and external team members.
