Summer Intern, Operational Excellence Lean - Colorado Springs, CO

As the Operational Excellence Lean Intern, you'll will be responsible for supporting the Colorado Springs, Colorado Plant through the Lean transformation and daily management initiatives. The Lean Intern is an integral part of the plant's daily operations, growth, and transformation. Your role will ensure the principles, practices, and tools are incorporated into the Allegion culture.

As the Operational Excellence Lean Intern, you will have the opportunity to interact directly with all levels of plant operations and corporate leadership. Your role is key to the implementation and support actions that will bring about improvements to multiple areas including safety, customer value proposition, quality, delivery, cycle, growth, margin expansion, and inventory.

What You Will Do

• Support continuous improvement projects that will include collecting data, observing current state processes, and implementing future state deliverables using lean methodologies.

• Drive Operational Excellence culture change through coaching of employees and leaders to drive Lean behaviors and follow the principles and practices of Allegion's Operational Excellence Model
