The investment division is responsible for designing investment strategies and managing bond portfolios that support our life and annuity products along with our surplus account. What You'll Do
You will collaborate and partner with Public Bond Investment professionals in the analysis of fixed income investment opportunities for inclusion in the company's General Account
Gain insight into fixed income investment analysis through conducting fundamental credit research, including the evaluation of company performance, financials, industry trends, capital structures, relative value, and investment risks
Present findings and investment recommendations based on summer research at the end of the internship
Gain hands on experience in investment decisions and see the dynamics of portfolio management
Factors for Success
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or similar field with a graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028
Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, organizational, and presentation skills
Excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, strong attention to detail, and ability to prioritize work
Ability to work collaboratively as a team and independently
Some understanding of, or expertise with, fixed income analysis
A knowledge or understanding of global capital markets
What makes you stand out
Ability to convey complex subjects clearly and concisely
Progress towards the CFA and/or involvement in a student investment fund
Experience working with Bloomberg terminals and data
A passion for a career in fixed income investing and an intellectual curiosity to delve into industry topics
