An internship with American Family Insurance is a great opportunity to build your skillset and explore your career interests. Our summer student internship is a 10 to 14 week program that starts in mid to late May and ends in August.

During your internship, you'll work on impactful projects that make a difference at our company, with our customers, and in our communities. You'll also gain exposure to different areas of our business and have numerous opportunities for networking and coaching.

Interns may be eligible for a one-time hiring bonus to assist with housing costs depending upon proximity to an AmFam office location.

Compensation Minimum: $25.00

As a Salesforce (internally called Relate) intern, you will work on either directly coding into Salesforce or program management of projects related to a portfolio of initiatives. You will report to Senior Engineering Managers.

- Contribute creative ideas and strategic approaches in response to changing situations.

### Requirements

- Must be in student status at an accredited 4-year college or university during the internship, graduating August 2027 or later.

- Must be pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD.

- Major/program must align with internship role--this may include: Computer Science, Business Administration or related degrees.

- Coding experience is a plus but not required. We do need people willing to learn, who are intellectually curious, driven to get things done, and who thrive in a team environment.

- Strongly prefer candidates graduating in August 2027, December 2027, or May 2028.

### Additional Information

- To ensure a strong start, all employees participate in our New Employee Orientation during their first week. This experience is held in person at our Madison, WI Headquarters or one of our AmFam core locations to help you connect with our mission, meet key team members and build relationships that support your growth. At times, sessions may be delivered virtually based on scheduling and availability.
