Responsibilities
Assist engineers with the development and review of substation engineering deliverables, including drawings, calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
Support electrical design activities related to transmission and distribution substations.
Help create and revise one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, equipment layouts, conduit plans, grounding drawings, and construction packages.
Perform engineering calculations under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Participate in site visits, field investigations, and construction support activities when project opportunities allow.
Learn and apply engineering standards, codes, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
Strong interest in power systems, electrical infrastructure, and substation engineering.
Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles and power distribution concepts.
Experience with AutoCAD or other drafting software preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
