Located in W.C. Hogg (WCH), the Natural Sciences Advising Center serves as the departmental advising office for undergraduates in the Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Medical Laboratory Science, and Neuroscience majors. Our team also advises Entry-Level students in a wide range of other majors and supports several academic success programs within CNS.
Purpose
We're seeking a detail-oriented, organized, hard-working part-time student associate to deliver an outstanding customer service experience for students, faculty, staff, and campus partners. This role is a great fit for someone who wants hands-on professional experience in a collaborative, service-focused environment. To advance our core mission of fostering wellness, belonging, and success for all students.
Responsibilities
- Assist with on-site front desk management, including student appointment check-ins and multi-line phone communication.
- Virtual office hours, projects to support staff, long-term organizational projects, general office maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
This position is open to CNS students with a GPA of 2.5 or Higher
Some experience in administrative or office work, basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, and proper telephone etiquette.
Salary Range
$10.50/hour
Working Conditions
- Must be able to lift 30lbs.
Work Shift
- 10-19 hours between 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday

Compliance
