Software Engineer Intern (Summer 2027)

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain features relied on by thousands of customers, managing code from creation through deployment.
• Troubleshoot problems in both development and live environments, helping document processes and respond to system issues.
• Contribute across different layers of the application depending on team assignment.
• Leverage AI to accelerate development and tackle technical challenges around speed and system capacity.

What they're looking for

• Completed at least one prior internship or co-op involving practical coding work.
• Enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math/Statistics, or equivalent.
• Expected graduation in December 2027 or May/June 2028.
• Familiarity with languages and tools like Python, Django, TypeScript, React, Go, MySQL, Cassandra, AWS, or Kafka.
• Comfortable learning new frameworks and eager to iterate based on feedback from actual users.

Pay and perks

• Hourly rate: $49.50–$60.50 USD.
• 11-week summer program from June 1–August 13, working on-site five days weekly in Boston.
