Description

Siemens Asset Management Software (AMS) Software Engineering Team is looking for an intern to join us for Summer 2027 to gain hands-on experience building real features in a production SaaS platform used by thousands of organizations worldwide. Siemens Asset Management Software is a global leader in intelligent asset management solutions and operates as a separate global business unit within Siemens Smart Infrastructure.

You will ship code alongside senior engineers in an AI-forward development environment — using AI tools as part of your daily workflow, contributing to features that leverage machine learning and intelligent automation, and learning how modern engineering teams build and ship at scale.

This Summer Internship will last between May 2027 and August 2027.

This is how you'll win us over

  • Pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in at least one: Java, C#, Python, TypeScript, or Go
  • Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, and SQL
  • Curiosity about how AI is changing software development and product experiences

You'll Thrive Even More If You Also Bring

  • Experience using AI tools in coursework, personal projects, or prior work
  • Exposure to ML concepts, LLMs, or data pipelines (even academic)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Comfort working asynchronously in a distributed, AI-augmented team environment

At Siemens, you'll have the opportunity to grow your career while helping organizations operate smarter, safer, and more sustainably. We foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, where employees are empowered to make a difference every day.
