Job Description

Eligibility: Internship applicants must be students with expected graduation dates between December 2027 and May 2029 to be considered for this opportunity.

Interns have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of teams across CoBank's Technology & Digital Innovation organization. While the below teams are examples of potential placements, final team assignments are determined based on each intern's skills, interests, business needs, and team availability, and will be finalized closer to the start of the internship.
Full Stack Software Engineering
Full Stack Software Engineering teams design, develop, and maintain the applications that power CoBank's business operations and customer experiences. Engineers work across the entire technology stack, building user interfaces, developing backend services, integrating systems, and delivering scalable technology solutions that support lending, leasing, finance, and enterprise business functions.
Data Engineering & AI
Data Engineering & AI teams build and manage the enterprise data platforms that enable analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision making across CoBank. Team members develop data pipelines, support enterprise data architecture, and advance artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities that help unlock business insights, improve operational efficiency, and drive innovation.
DevOps / Platform Engineering / Infrastructure
DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Infrastructure teams provide the technology foundation that supports CoBank's applications and systems. These teams focus on cloud infrastructure, automation, application deployment, platform reliability, enterprise systems, and security, ensuring technology solutions are scalable, resilient, and efficiently delivered to employees and customers.
Tech Services & End User Technology
Tech Services & End User Technology teams deliver the tools, support, and technology experiences that enable employees to perform their best work. These professionals manage end-user devices, collaboration platforms, technology support services, and workplace technologies while ensuring employees have reliable access to the systems and resources they need to be successful.
Product, Agile, UX, and Transformation Functions
Product, Agile, UX, and Transformation teams partner closely with engineering and business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions that create meaningful value for users. These professionals help define product strategy, improve user experiences, facilitate agile delivery practices, and drive organizational transformation initiatives that support innovation and continuous improvement across CoBank.
This role is hybrid, interns will come into their designated office at least 3 days a week.
Interns work approximately 40-hours per week.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $22 - $26. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
