Software Engineering builds the brains of Waymo's fully autonomous driving technology. We think deeply and solve complex technical challenges in areas like robotics, perception, decision-making and deep learning, while collaborating with hardware and systems engineers. You will

  • Analyze differences between ML and Production behavior.
  • Cluster analysis of dozens of examples to identify trends.
  • Determine if the clusters demonstrate desirable or undesirable behavior.
  • Port desirable behavior demonstrated by ML to production systems.

You have

  • Software engineering
  • Proficient in C++
  • Data fluency

We prefer

  • Experience with robotics or ML

The expected hourly rate for this full-time position is listed below. Interns are also eligible to participate in the Company's generous benefits programs, subject to eligibility requirements.

Hourly Bachelors Pay
