Software Developer Co-op - C++

What you'll do

• Develop C++ features for Apera Vue vision software using Qt and OpenCV.
• Test and debug robotic vision systems in the lab, identifying edge cases and performance issues.
• Write unit tests, expand test coverage, and contribute to automated testing infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews, standups, and document work for future team members.

What they're looking for

• Strong C++ skills including object-oriented design and memory management.
• Solid foundation in linear algebra, vectors, and 3D transforms.
• Experience with Git version control and software projects.
• Bonus: Linux development, computer vision libraries, multithreading, or Python scripting.

Pay and perks

• CAD $3,600 to $4,500 per month.
• 8-month co-op term from January 2027 to August 2027.
• In-person role in Vancouver, BC office.
