What Is the Leadership Development Program?

Clemens Food Group’s Leadership Development Program is a one-year rotational experience designed to prepare early-career professionals for future opportunities within the organization. Through hands-on learning, cross-functional projects, mentorship, and cohort-based development sessions, you will strengthen the leadership, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills needed to transition into a full-time role after completing the program.

About Sales and Marketing at Clemens Food Group

Our Sales and Marketing teams connect the farm to the family table. Together, they drive growth, strengthen customer partnerships, and share the story behind our products and purpose.

Our Sales teams build relationships with retail, foodservice, and distribution partners while helping ensure our products meet customers’ needs. Our Marketing teams turn market trends, consumer behavior, product knowledge, and brand strategy into initiatives that support customers and move the business forward.

Through this program, you will gain experience across both functions while learning how data, communication, customer relationships, and cross-functional collaboration contribute to business growth.

Your Year in Sales & Marketing

During this one-year program, you will rotate through multiple areas that provide a 360° view of our Sales and Marketing operations and supporting cross-functional partners:

• Sales Operations Management: Support forecasting, reporting, customer requests, sales activities, and cross-functional problem-solving.
• Sales: Participate in customer visits, product cuttings, food shows, sales coaching, and other customer-facing activities.
• Marketing: Assist with marketing materials, product training, sales tools, and branded portfolio projects.
• Category Management and Business Insights: Analyze sales and market data while supporting category reviews, customer presentations, and growth initiatives.
• Project Management: Support product launches, project timelines, stakeholder updates, and cross-functional communication throughout the commercialization process.

Who Is Eligible?

• Students graduating in December 2026 or May 2027 with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
• Candidates with demonstrated leadership through academics, internships, employment, projects, athletics, or campus involvement
• Candidates with experience demonstrating teamwork, communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving
• Individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Individuals who are open to working on-site and visiting a pork production facility, which may include cold temperatures and unique sights and smells
• Candidates who are available to begin the program in June 2027
