Badger Meter is seeking a Sales Enablement & Business Analytics Intern to support initiatives designed to strengthen sales enablement, improve business processes, and provide data-driven insights that support revenue growth.
This cross-functional role will provide exposure to Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Proposals, giving you the opportunity to understand how different functions work together to support customers and drive business performance. You will help evaluate business information, competitive intelligence, and processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
You will contribute to projects that help the organization make better business decisions through improved data, processes, and analysis. This experience is designed to provide practical exposure to Sales Operations and develop the skills needed to evaluate business opportunities and make recommendations based on data.
Essential Job Duties
Support Sales Enablement initiatives that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of sales teams.
Assist with gathering, organizing, and analyzing business and competitive information.
Develop and maintain processes and databases for FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) information and related business intelligence.
Conduct competitive analysis and organize findings into useful resources for Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Proposals teams.
Identify opportunities to improve access to competitive and business information.
Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Support the development and documentation of improved business processes.
Help evaluate business opportunities using data, research, and analytical techniques.
Assist with developing business cases and recommendations for process improvements.
Support Sales Operations activities and projects.
Research market, customer, industry, and competitive trends.
Organize and present information in a clear and actionable format for internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop solutions.
