Reporting to the Area Safety Manager, we are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Safety Summer Intern to support our Aggregate and, Ready-Mix operations. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in occupational health and safety while working alongside industry professionals in a dynamic manufacturing and construction materials environment. The intern will assist with safety initiatives, compliance activities, inspections, training, and continuous improvement projects that help create a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.

### What You'll Be Doing

- Assist with safety inspections, audits, and field observations to identify hazards and support risk reduction efforts.

- Participate in incident investigations, data analysis, and corrective action tracking to improve workplace safety performance.

- Support the development and delivery of safety training, toolbox talks, and employee engagement initiatives.

- Help maintain safety records, compliance documentation, and reporting requirements.

- Partner with operations and safety teams on projects that promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.

### What Are We Looking For

- Currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health & Safety, Safety Management, or a related field.
