### JOB SUMMARY

The Safety & Health Intern will support the Safety & Health team in promoting a safe and healthy work environment across field operations. This position provides hands-on experience in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, contractor safety, emergency preparedness, regulatory compliance, and incident prevention. The intern will work alongside safety professionals to develop practical knowledge of workplace hazard identification, risk mitigation, regulatory requirements, and safety management systems within the energy industry.

### Key Responsibilities

- Assist in promoting compliance with company safety and health policies, procedures, and safe work practices.

- Support the identification, evaluation, and communication of workplace hazards and assist in recommending appropriate control measures.

- Participate in field observations, inspections, audits, and safety assessments with Safety & Health professionals.

- Assist with the collection and organization of incident, near miss, and property damage information, including documentation and reporting.

- Participate in job site visits to observe hazard recognition, risk assessment, and mitigation activities.

- Support safety training initiatives by assisting with preparation, logistics, and training materials.

- Assist with basic industrial hygiene monitoring activities, including noise and air quality assessments, under supervision.

- Attend and support emergency response drills, safety meetings, and other safety-related activities.

- Learn and apply Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and company safety standards in real-world work environments.

- Assist with data analysis, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports related to safety performance and compliance activities.

- Support special projects focused on continuous improvement of safety and health programs.
