AM Risk is responsible for proactively identifying, analyzing, aggregating, and reporting on significant and emerging risks to assist management in improving their controls and processes.
The ideal candidate will help the Risk team broaden the coverage of Risk Workstation by conceptualizing new risk indicators, analyze data for insights and build data exploration tools.
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to help drive strategic business decisions. You will work closely with various departments to identify trends, provide insights, and support data-driven decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources to identify trends and patterns.
- Create visualizations and reports to present findings to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain data systems, and data analytics tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Help maintain and improve data quality and integrity
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to data strategy discussions.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field
- Basic understanding of data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Good Programming skills (using Java or Python)
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
The base salary range for this position is $39 - $70 per hour.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
