Raw Materials Engineering Intern - Summer 2027 - Decherd, TN

What you'll do

• Identify material utilization improvements and support efficiency and sustainability efforts.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to materials and implement cross-functional solutions.
• Participate in cycle-time reduction, automated inspection, and robotics integration projects.
• Conduct raw material testing and analyze results for quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes.

• Currently enrolled Junior or Senior in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• GPA 3.0 or above; able to work onsite in Decherd, TN.
