R&D Intern - Biostatistics

What you'll do

• Execute project assignments involving eye health products, enabling technologies, or R&D operations.
• Perform statistical research, clinical data analysis, and simulation studies.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers across technical disciplines.
• Evaluate and present results across functional groups.

What they're looking for

• Completed at least 1 year of graduate school in Biostatistics or Statistical Sciences PhD program.
• Experience with SAS and/or R programming; solid R knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of random effects models and clinical trial concepts required.
• Meta-analytic methodologies and simulation coding experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Authorized to work in US without sponsorship; available 40 hours/week on-site in Jacksonville.
