### Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Intern to join our team at Hitachi Vantara Manufacturing, Inc. The successful candidate will:

- work under the direction of a QA Manager to connect and extract useful quality information from various data sources and structures.

- develop analytical methods and models for process quality control.

- contribute to product testing improvements through analysis of failure trends and field returns.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in:

- Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.

- Experience in Database Design, Optimization and Analysis of Data.

- Basic Programming Skills.

- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control.

- Microsoft Programming Development Environment and Tools.

In this role, you will:

- assist with technical studies and use case options for AI + HI application in Quality Data Management.

- work with Engineering to implement Mistake Proofing Methodology.

- participate in Quality Investigation, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement.

You will also be required to:

- have excellent oral and written communication skills.

- be able to work at least 20 hours per week during school months and 40 hours per week during the summer months.

As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the hourly rate for this position is: $20.
