Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities

Programmer Analyst / Developer - IDT&S. This internship supports software and business-application development within Spirit Commercial’s IDT&S organization. Interns may translate business requirements into technical solutions, assist with application design and development, troubleshoot and test software, support data integrations, document processes, and collaborate with end users and technical teams to improve digital workflows used across the business.

Potential internship assignments may include

  • Application development and testing
  • Business and systems analysis
  • Data integration, reporting, and automation
  • Technical documentation and user support

These positions are expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Wichita, KS.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree program
  • Ability to work full-time during Summer 2027

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Passion for the aerospace industry and interest and enthusiasm for a career at Boeing
  • Academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
  • Previous related internship or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations
  • Majoring in one of the following: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Data Science, or other related fields
  • The ability to relocate and work onsite
