### Duties

- This position is an unpaid internship working with the Multi-Door Dispute Resolution Division. The interns major duties are below: Small Claims Mediation Program Intern Assist the Program manager with supportive asks associated with the mediation case management process. Observe various roles for operating and administering a court based mediation program. Observe and learn about the mediation process. Assist with the Mediation information sheet and its distribution by email to associated mediators. Position is flexible to focus the duties to meet the interests and goals of the intern.

### Qualifications

Requirements: Enrolled or formally accepted for enrollment as a full-time or part-time undergraduate student at an accredited college or university. Students majoring in Law, Court Administration, Conflict Resolution or related fields. The incumbent should be an enthusiastic and engaged professional who enjoys working with a diverse group of Court personnel and customers and lives the DC Courts' values of Accountability, Excellence, Fairness, Integrity, Fairness, Integrity, Respect and Transparency.

### Education
