### Responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of all machine tools, assembly equipment and manufacturing assets.

- Perform testing, adjustments and repair in the area of hydraulics, mechanical, electrical and electronics.

- Disassemble equipment, access problems, and reassemble. Equipment includes: electrical systems, Programmable Logic Control systems, hydraulic pumps/systems, gear boxes/transmissions, and pneumatic systems.

- Read and understand mechanical prints and electrical schematics.

- Promptly respond to customer maintenance requests concerning equipment breakdowns.

- Provide support to departmental personnel as workload dictates.

- Keep accurate maintenance records.

- Order parts/supplies and maintain inventory accuracy.

- Follow all required safety guidelines and utilize the proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

### Position Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Working toward a degree in electrical, electronics, hydraulics, fluid power, robotics or related field.

- Education in manufacturing/machining programs (i.e. Mechanical Troubleshooting, PLC Controls, Trouble Shooting and Diagnostics, and Electronics).

- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

- Ability to disassemble equipment, access problems, and reassemble.

- Ability to adjust machines physical placement and parameters to original machine specifications.

- Proficient working knowledge of a variety of electronic controls.

- Understand safety rules and regulations to prevent unsafe set-ups, operations, or acts, which might cause injury to self, others or the environment.
