Machine Learning Engineer Intern - Masters

What you'll do

• Apply ML/AI research to real-world problems in discovery, ads, forecasting, and search.
• Execute research ideas that improve DoorDash's product experience.
• Collect, analyze data and build relevant ML models from insights.
• Write clean, efficient, sustainable code.

What they're looking for

• Master's degree in Computer Science, ML, NLP, Statistics, or related field; graduating Fall 2027–Summer 2028.
• Mastery of Java, C++, Python, Kotlin, GoLang, or ML frameworks like TensorFlow/PyTorch.
• Research experience and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Publications in ML, AI, data science, or related fields preferred.

Pay and perks

• Base salary: I4 $130,600–$192,000; I5 $159,800–$235,000; I6 $193,800–$285,000.
