Machine Learning Applied Scientist Co-op

What you'll do

• Prototype and evaluate machine learning models for object detection, depth estimation, and pose estimation using internal datasets.
• Adapt recent ML research to manufacturing applications and benchmark against production baselines.
• Improve synthetic data generation pipeline to expand variation in object properties and poses.
• Collaborate with robotics and software engineers to diagnose and fix model deployment issues.
• Lead a focused ML project and present outcomes with metrics at term end.

What they're looking for

• Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks like PyTorch.
• Understanding of computer vision fundamentals including detection, segmentation, and 3D geometry.
• Experience with model training, tuning, and evaluation workflows.
• Interest in robotics or production-grade ML software.

Pay and perks

• CAD $3,600 to $4,500 per month.
