Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP (WRA) is a full-service, multi-disciplinary engineering, architectural, and environmental consulting firm that provides planning, design, and construction management services. With a professional and technical staff of over 750, the firm's services are focused on the needs of governmental, educational, institutional, and private sector clients.
We are currently seeking a civil engineering student for highway engineering Internship in our Baltimore, MD office. Our Highway Design group is responsible for design of a variety of transportation facilities, including design of highways, pedestrian facilities, bicycle facilities, and transit improvements.
Requirements
Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from an accredited institution.
Must have the ability to effectively communicate orally/written at all levels of the organization.
Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have the ability to handle multiple assignments.
Experience with design software tools such as MicroStation, OpenRoads and AutoCAD preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

The expected hourly compensation range for this position is $21.50 - $24.50. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
