Hardware Engineer (FPGA/ASIC) Intern

What you'll do

• Work on real-world FPGA and ASIC design projects with full-time mentors
• Use Hardcaml, an OCaml library, to design and test hardware
• Build hardware applications from concept through working design
• Gain exposure to Jane Street's internal development tools and systems

What they're looking for

• Proficiency in a software programming language
• Experience with hardware description languages like VHDL, Verilog, or Chisel
• Hands-on experience with FPGA or ASIC vendor tools
• Completed hardware project through academic, professional, or personal work
• Interest in learning FPGAs or ASICs for networking applications

Pay and perks

• Base salary of $300,000
