As a Software Engineering Intern, you'll contribute to cloud and on-prem web applications, work alongside experienced engineers and a dedicated mentor, and gain hands-on experience with modern full-stack technologies while developing software in a regulated healthcare environment.

Please note this position is an in-office position at our Beachwood, Ohio site.

As a Software Engineering Intern at GE Healthcare for our MIM Commercialized Web Applications team, you will contribute to our web applications sold to customers – MIMcloud and MIM Anyware.

MIMcloud is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) web application which enables secure, HIPAA-compliant cloud-based storage and exchange of medical images between clinical facilities.

MIM Anyware is an on-premise web application which virtualizes access to our main desktop medical imaging application (MIM) through a web browser.

### What You'll Do:

- Contribute full-stack changes to the codebases of MIMcloud and/or MIM Anyware.
- Document code, design specifications, and cybersecurity threat models
- Test code and write unit tests
- Work closely with experienced software engineers, including a personal mentor
- Learn about software engineering principles in an industry environment
- Learn about engineering best practices for development of regulated medical software
- Work on real features with a real-world impact on customers
