Position Summary:
The Equipment Engineering Intern will support the Equipment Maintenance organization in driving technician development, training compliance, preventative maintenance (PM) performance improvement initiatives, and equipment maintenance program effectiveness. This role provides hands-on exposure to semiconductor equipment maintenance operations, training systems, reliability engineering, calibration management, data analytics, KPI reporting, documentation control, and continuous improvement processes. The intern may assist with tracking technician certifications, maintaining training records, analyzing maintenance performance metrics, preparing reports for leadership reviews, and identifying opportunities to improve PM execution effectiveness and workforce capability. In addition, the intern may also support by helping maintain pump maintenance documentation, calibration records, and associated processes to ensure compliance with site requirements and established standards.
Responsibilities may include supporting documentation management, process standardization efforts, audit readiness activities, calibration tracking, preventive maintenance program improvements, and adherence to maintenance, quality, and operational standards. The intern will collaborate with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional partners to improve equipment reliability, documentation accuracy, and maintenance process consistency while gaining practical experience in semiconductor manufacturing operations.
Desired Qualifications
The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical preferred
Prefer Dec 2027 and May 2028 graduation dates
Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills
Demonstrates hands-on experience in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electromechanical system repair and/or maintenance
Strong verbal and written communication capabilities
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Effective at defining and documenting processes or equipment procedure
