Engineering Intern – Shreveport, LA and nearby areas

What you'll do

• Collaborate with engineers on planning, designing, and executing enterprise resource projects from design through construction.
• Participate in design reviews, training sessions, and constructability assessments to maintain safety standards.
• Conduct field visits to operational facilities to understand power systems and assist with inspections.
• Support development of databases, reports, cost estimates, and dashboards for data-driven decisions.

What they're looking for

• Currently pursuing bachelor's degree in electrical, civil, mechanical, or chemical engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Completed at least freshman year; graduation date December 2027 or later.
• Must be 18 years old; not eligible for sponsorship, OPT, or CPT.
• Preferred: 3.0+ GPA, strong communication skills, interest in electric utility and sustainability.

Pay and perks

• $25.00–$30.00/hour based on education level.
• $1,500/month housing stipend for those relocating over 45 miles.
