Engineering Intern – Corpus Christi, TX and nearby areas

What you'll do

• Team with experienced engineers to plan, build, and deploy infrastructure projects across their lifecycle.
• Join design sessions, skill-building activities, and safety reviews to uphold operational standards.
• Visit working facilities to observe electrical systems and support testing and inspections.
• Help create analytical tools, documentation, financial projections, and performance tracking systems.

What they're looking for

• Pursuing an ABET-accredited bachelor's in electrical, civil, mechanical, or chemical engineering.
• Finished at least first year of college; graduating December 2027 or later.
• At least 18 years old; ineligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization programs.
• Preferred: 3.0 GPA minimum, strong communication abilities, passion for utilities and clean energy.

Pay and perks

• Hourly rate between $25.00–$30.00 depending on academic progress.
• $1,500 monthly housing allowance for interns moving over 45 miles away.
