### Responsibilities

- Assist in developing and testing client applications, web applications, and backend services under the guidance of senior engineers

- Write, debug, and document code in languages such as C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or Angular

- Support APIs and services for real-time, high-throughput identity workflows

- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning), and team design discussions

- Help improve system reliability, test coverage, and observability

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized development environments

- Complete a scoped intern project and present outcomes to the team at the end of the internship

### Qualifications

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field

- Foundational programming skills in at least one modern language (e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python)

- Understanding of core CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design

- Familiarity with version control (Git) and basic SQL

- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

- Effective written and verbal communication

- Coursework or project experience with React and/or Angular

- Exposure to REST APIs, web services, or real-time systems (e.g., WebSockets)

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS), Docker, or CI/CD concepts

- Prior internship, co-op, hackathon, or open-source contribution experience

- Interest in identity, biometrics, security, or public-sector technology
