Embedded Software Intern (Summer 2027)

What you'll do

• Build firmware for flight systems, sensors, communications, and test platforms using C or C++
• Set up hardware connections including serial protocols and network interfaces
• Create low-level code layers, diagnostic tools, and simulation components
• Troubleshoot issues with specialized test equipment and analysis tools
• Participate in system validation through simulation and physical testing

What they're looking for

• Enrolled in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent program
• Solid grasp of C or C++ programming
• Background in embedded systems, operating systems, or time-critical software through coursework or projects
• Completed a project involving hardware interaction that you can walk through your debugging process
• U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (ITAR requirement)
