Electrical Engineer Co-op

What you'll do

• Build electronic systems from initial concept to working prototype, selecting components and designing circuit boards.
• Identify and fix problems spanning hardware and software domains with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and code debugging.
• Write firmware and software for embedded processors and Linux-based systems.
• Partner with engineers across disciplines to complete functional products.

What they're looking for

• Currently enrolled in bachelor's or master's program in electrical or computer engineering or similar discipline.
• Committed to continuing education for minimum one quarter or semester following the internship.
• U.S. citizen or national; may need security clearance eligibility.
• Preferred: hands-on lab instrument experience, version control systems, Linux kernel work, programming in C/C++.

Pay and perks

• $34–$50 per hour.
• 16 to 24-week compensated on-site position starting Winter 2027.
• Positions in Costa Mesa, CA and other offices.
