DEKA offers Co-Ops for full time students* (must be at least 18 years of age). This position is for a 6+ month rotation for the Spring semester starting in January and ending in June/ July 2027.
How you will make an impact as an Electrical Engineer Co-Op
Support development of new products and new product concepts

Operate software on embedded systems
Use electrical CAD tools for schematic and layout including Altium

Skills we are looking for in an Electrical Engineer Co-Op
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate Electrical Engineering program as a junior or senior, or in a graduate Electrical Engineering program.
Demonstrated hands-on experience through technical academic or personal projects is required. Med Device related experience is a plus.
Knowledge of analog circuits (signal and low-power)
Knowledge of digital electronics
Must have exposure to electrical CAD tools (schematic and layout)
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be a self-starter eager to contribute in a team environment
Must be detail oriented
