Job Summary

Are you a student who enjoys assisting in the development and validation of data integration solutions? In this role you will understand and align requirements to resulting integration product delivery. We're looking for a highly adaptive, resourceful student who is a fast learner.

What You'll Do

• Analyze data ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL) techniques for accuracy.
• Understand basic business requirements and engage with integration developers to design and verify corresponding solutions using Agile project methodology.
• Follow best practices and security standards for all data, including personally identifiable data.
• Ensure all data-related activities adhere to business requirements and data integrity best practices.
• Test and diagnose developed integrations for defects.
• Participate in project planning sessions, review requirements and functional specifications.

What We're Looking For

• High School diploma required.
• Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Informatics or related field. Previous internship is a plus.
• Ability to validate data received from various web services and other integration technologies (REST, XML/JSON, SOAP, ETL).
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL queries, relational and dimensional data modeling and data warehouses.
• Strong attention to detail.

• No travel is expected of this position.

Work Location

ONSITE: A team member's day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
