### Job Description

Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated Corporate Real Estate Intern - Summer 2027 to join our team. The position requires the following, but is not limited to:

- Work with commercial leases, operating costs and related correspondence.

- Analyze property management issues, review proposals, coordinate service/maintenance work and process invoices.

- Communicate with branch associates, contractors and management to carry out repairs and routine maintenance.

- Work with other departments in Auto-Owners real estate division, including facilities, security, and contract management.

- Assist in non-construction projects within the real estate division as needed.

### Qualifications

- Students should be enrolled and entering their junior or senior year in college. A major in facilities management, finance or real estate is preferred.

- Above-average communication skills (written and verbal)

- General understanding building management

- Ability to read and interpret floor plans

- Familiar with computer software such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

- Competency to learn new software tools

- Ability to handle multiple assignments

### Rate of Pay

Rate of pay starts at $18.00 per hour.
