Co-op, R&D Chemistry: January - June 2027 (Onsite)

### Position Overview

Position Dates: January 11, 2027 – June 30, 2027

This position will work in the chemistry lab and be trained and involved in the testing and analysis of body-worn drug delivery devices as it relates to biocompatibility and safety to the patient.

### Responsibilities

- Use GCMS and conduct off gas analysis on Pod components with headspace autosampler.
- Use FTIR for investigation of foreign matter related to R&D, post market or manufacture.
- Use UPLC-MS to study extractable and leachable profiles of Pod.
- Coordinate sample submission to Contract labs.
- Author Test Protocol/Test Report for biocompatibility as needed.
- Help out/lighten other groups' workload as needed
- Follow safety guidelines
- Maintain electronic and/or paper notebooks
- Author/Establish Tool Files for instruments/procedures in chemistry lab

### Required Skills and Competencies

- Highly ethical, responsible and data-driven decision-making methodology
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow direction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
- Ability to work with chemistry-based lab equipment and tools

### Education and Experience

Currently pursuing a BS or BA in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field.

### Additional Information

The position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements, and requires on-site work at our Acton, Massachusetts headquarters at least 4 days per week.

This position is not eligible for employer-based visa sponsorship. Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship needs.

### Compensation & Benefits

For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $25.00 - $34.00

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
