### About The Role and Program

Disney Advertising Sales is responsible for advertising sales and integrated marketing for The Walt Disney Company's entertainment and sports offerings through linear, digital, social, addressable and radio businesses. Disney Advertising Sales (or DAS) works with media agencies and consumer brands to sell advertising via a "one-stop shop" approach across all platforms of all of the Disney brands.

The Client Connect team is a cross-portfolio marketing team within Disney Advertising sales that works with our sales counterparts and internal solutions teams to create innovative, strategic, and market-leading proposals to drive revenue for the company overall.

The approximate dates of this program are June - August 2027

### What You Will Do

The Intern will participate in and gain a rich understanding of the breadth of the marketing and solutions side of the advertising sales business. You will develop an understanding of the pre-sale marketing business via exposure to core building blocks such as strategic account development, ability to interpret data/research to help bolster our pitches, creation of cross-portfolio marketing campaigns and presentations. The intern will also be exposed to broader learning opportunities including departmental meetings, Client Connect senior leader meet & greets and cross-division internship experiences, as well as the opportunity to learn key industry terminology and hone professional communication skills. Responsibilities include:

- Learning sales/marketing tactics to target and develop leads, leveraging insights and creative thought-starters to generate client dialogue

- Collaborating to build strategic, 360 packages/proposals and/or customized creative concepts, onesheets, mini-decks to address client and/or category needs

- Attending internal strategy calls with key sales and solutions counterparts to determine way-forward strategies for clients

- Attending select external client calls to observe and understand pitches

### Required Qualifications & Skills

- Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about television, streaming, digital platforms, social networks and the media and advertising business

- Engaged learner, eager to contribute and take on new challenges

- Strategic, detail-oriented and creative thinker, with the agility to work on multiple concurrent projects

- Professionalism, reliability and integrity as a team player; comfortable working in a high performing team environment with strong communication skills, verbal and written

- Willing to invest time and effort for the return of a truly unique internship experience

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

### Preferred Qualifications & Skills

- Previous experience (internship or academic) within advertising, media or sales; experience with marketing, sponsorships, prospecting, research/insights

- General familiarity with current Disney content across broadcast and streaming platforms

- Proficiency in collaboration platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams), as well as PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite

### Education

- Junior or Senior year preferred

- Major or previous coursework in Advertising, Business, Marketing or related major preferred

### Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements

- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

- Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program

- Be at least 18 years of age

- Possess unrestricted work authorization

### Additional Information

- Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

- Fully available from Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week

- Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the New York City area

- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in New York is $23.00 per hour.
