Who will you work for?

The internship will be on the C++ Core Services team. We are part of the cornerstone of trading system which is building core services and libraries to support the next generation of trading platforms across many fixed income asset classes. You will build container-based microservices for Tradeweb’s core infrastructure, optimize our matching algorithms or help overhaul our trading applications by leveraging principles from distributed systems, high-performance computing and multithreading. This is high performance and mission critical work.

What do you need to succeed?

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, math or related field.

• Passion for C++ development.

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and modern C++ techniques.

• Familiarity with Python, Typescript and/or Bash scripting is a plus.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.

• Interested in learning real life financial market and technology.

• Ability to work independently and within a team, own issues and solve them to completion.

The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $35-$75 hourly based on a regular, full-time schedule.  The amount of pay offered will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
